What is AirTag? Apple's AirTag has entered a growing market for tracking accessories. When the company introduced its new apple airtag in Chesapeake, a tracking device, it also explained how iPhone users could detect when other people use it to track them. Apple then outlined how people without an iPhone can avoid harassment using this technology, but executives have revealed more information. Apple stated that privacy has been paramount from the beginning of development. AirTag Function
Apple AirTag is designed to track everyday objects such as keys or backpacks. It is tightly integrated with iOS and can be accessed and controlled through the Find My app on Apple devices. AirTags have been added and managed in the "Find My" app under Apple's "Project" tab in iOS 14.3. Like other Apple devices, each AirTag is displayed on the map in the "Find My" app so that you can see its location. AirTags connects to your iOS and macOS devices via Bluetooth. Precisely find iPhone U1 chips (including iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 models) can take advantage of the precise find function, allowing you to view specific instructions on finding a lost AirTag. Precision Search combines AR, sound, and tactile feedback to help you. Apple AirTag uses Apple's U1 chip, which can also be found on Apple iPhone 12, iPhone 11, Apple Watch Series 6, and HomePod mini. The "U" in U1 stands for "Ultra-Wideband" (UWB), a low-energy, short-range radio technology for wireless data transmission. By calculating the time required for radio waves to pass between two devices, the distance between two UWB devices can be measured more accurately than Bluetooth, making it an ideal choice for finding lost items. In addition to the U1 chip, AirTag will also use Bluetooth, so anyone with an iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 device can use them even without U1. Recover lost AirTag If you find your lost AirTag, or someone finds your lost AirTag, you can scan it with any NFC-equipped smartphone to display contact information. This applies to iPhone and Android devices, so scan to find the owner if you find an item. In Lost Mode, AirTag will also transmit your location to the owner via the "Find My" network. Simple Pairing The AirTag will pair with your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, just like your AirPods. When you bring AirTag close to your iPhone, you will be prompted to connect, and voila, AirTag will connect to your phone. You need to log in to your Apple account and use the "Find My" service, which requires access to iCloud. AirTag will appear as an item in the Find My application. This is all you want to match. You can choose to change the name of the AirTag, so it can be a key or backpack or whatever name you want. Configure your AirTag
